Some needy diners in Edmonds will be enjoying mounds of mashed potatoes thanks to some local Rotarians.
   On Monday, November 17th 1,500 pounds of potatoes grown locally were delivered to the two Edmonds Food Banks. The Food Bank at Edmonds United Methodist Church and Westgate Chapel will be feeding large numbers on Thanksgiving.
   Procuring the potatoes was the work of Sharalynn Ramm and Don Ptacek. Don took his truck to pick them up in Burlington. This is the fourth year Don and Sharalynn have done this.
   This is one of the many community projects that the Rotary Club of Edmonds supports.
